It's Pickle's World and the rest of us are just living in it.

Pickle is just one of those puppies who "kind of stayed". He was long one of my favorites in the litter but I wasn't planning to keep two boys, certainly not from the same litter. I'm always particular with my homes but for this puppy, I wanted something more. The "more" ended up being us.

He's hilarious, he's a bit of a diva, and he is gentle like a sledgehammer. He's following in the tradition of the many dogs before him in that he's training to be a multi-sport athlete. At 14 months of age he has a major and some singles toward his AKC Championship and is training in both agility and weight pull.

October 2023 AMCA Regional Specialty Albany, OR~ At Pickle's first show, he took Best Baby Puppy in Specialty

August 2024 AMCA Wisconsin Specialty - Pickle showed so well, winning his morning Sweeps class and in the afternoon, he took RWD at the specialty! Saturday at the Waukesha Kennel Club supported entry under breeder judge Robin Hug, Pickle went Winners Dog for a 4 point major.

September 2024 AMCA Great Lakes Specialty - Pickle wins the 15-18mo class and goes on to win Grand Sweepstakes. He competed in the regular class and took Winners Dog for a 5 point major. He sits at 11 points with both of his majors out of the way.

October 2024 AMCA Regional/National Specialty Wilmington, OH ~

Pickle earned his 1st WWPDA leg with a pull of 1,732# in the Regional pull and his second WWPD leg in the National.
He pulled the same weight but it was a smaller pull and too many dogs pulled their qualifying pull for it to count as an Adv. Still, great job Pick!
He made his agility debut and had a couple runs that were pretty good - he got his weaves every time!
Regional Sweeps was judged by breeder judge Helen Schultz and Pickle took 2nd in his 15-18 month class.
In Regional Specialty with Breed specialist Barb Salvadore Pickle WON the Bred By Exhibitor class!
For the National Sweeps we had breeder judge John Dewing. He awarded 1st place to Pickle in the 15-18month class! And sadly, this was our last Puppy Sweeps as they age out next month. I ran the "poor dog" back and forth to weight pull, harness on, harness off, harness on.
In the afternoon we had Grand Futurity with breeder judge Carlene Way. She awarded Pickle 2nd place in the 15-18 month class!
Day 6 we had the National Specialty Regular classes with Breeder Judge Wendy Corr. Pickle was awarded 2nd in a competitive Bred By Exhibitor class.
And on the last day, Pickle and sibs helped his sire, Wilson WIN the Stud dog class and helped his dam, Zenny, take 3rd in a stacked Brood Bitch class.
