Award of Merit Winner: 2022 Alaskan Malamute Club of America Regional Specialty, National week ~ Estes Park, CO

Chrome is participating in all three working venues (weight pull, backpack, sledding/carting) as well as conformation, agility, and rally obedience.

Before the age of 2, he earned his Working Weight Pull Dog title, his Working Pack Dog title, and had begun trialing in both AKC and UKC agility.

He finished his UKC Championship in a single weekend with back-to-back Group 1s and earned Total Dog Honors.

July 2019 ~ Chrome picked up his first major by going Winners Dog at the AMCA Specialty for 5 points!

March 2021 ~ Chrome placed 4th in the 81-100# class for AMCW's 2020-2021 weight pull season . His litter brother and half brother were 1st and 2nd in the same class.

April 2021 ~ Chrome took Reserve to the 5 point major at the Blue/Gray cluster in Pennsylvania AND was 2nd in his class in the weight pull.

May 2021 ~ Chrome was Winner's Dog/Best of Winners/Best of Breed/Best of Breed - Owner Handled at the Kokomo KC show in Kokomo, IN

July 2021 ~ Chrome took Reserve to the 5 point major at the Wisconsin AMCA specialty in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

January 2022 ~ Chrome picked up his second major by going Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the AMCA specialty in Minnesota. He needs one more point for his AKC Championship!

May 2022 ~ CHROME NEW AKC Champion!!

October/November 2022 ~ The AMCA National week was a big one for Chrome. Sunday in the Regional weight pull, he was 2nd to his litter brother Tuuli in the competitive 81-100# class. In the dog show, he won the Working dog class and went on to receive an Award of Merit (!) from breeder judge Robin Hug. Wednesday, he competed in Rally Advanced A and won his class at both the Regional and National trial to pick up his first two RA legs. Thursday, he won the 81-100# weight class in the National weight pull and went on to win Most Weight Pulled! Saturday, for the National, he was 2nd in the Working Dog Class. He finished out the week in 2nd place in the Ultimate Malamute Competition which is for dogs who achieve in at least three sports during the week.

November 2022 ~ New Rally Advanced (RA) title! All 3 legs were earned with >90pts and all 3 were 1st placements. His RA completes the requirements for the Register of Merit for Rally (ROM-RAL) for his mother Lucy. She is only the second female in the breed to earn it, the first being Lucy's mother.

November 2023 at the AMCA Regional/National Specialty in Albany, OR~ New Rally Excellent (RE) title!  

July 2024 ~ Chrome finished his Open Jumpers Preferred title after years of being SO close.  

October 2024 ~ AMCA Regional/National Wilmington, OH~ Chrome had a great Regional pull earning his second WWPDS leg and pulling 2,628#. Chrome pulled an amazing 3,108# for a personal best and his 3rd WWPDS leg at the National.
