So many of our stars descend from him: kids Steele, J, Pyrite, Mica, Riser, Tug, Kenzie, grandkids Trax, Powder, Grayle, Kix, Zeke, Danica, Shades, Nukka, and great-grandkids Gears and Harlow. He was the leader of Larry's team and his claim to fame was when he led the team that delivered the coach the year the Chicago Wolves hockey team won the Cup. He is sorely missed. | Awanuna's Wintuk Cowboy "Brady" Am/Can Ch Storm Kloud's Great Gatsby WWPD WTD WLD x Ch Sno-Klouds Marketa of Awanuna CDX WLD WTD d.o.b. 4/27/1991 Brady was taken far too soon by peritonitis. True to the stoic nature of the Alaskan Malamute, we didn't discover he was very ill until it was too late to save him. We lost him just days before he was to be bred to Tazzle--how different our breeding program might have been but we always remember that everything happens for a reason. He needed just one more major to finish his Championship. |

| CH Wintuk's Gold Digger WTD "Pyrite" (fools gold) or Py Ch Wintuk's Eclipse of the Son WWPD WTD WLD x Ch Wintuk's Dragon of Dreams April 1, 1999 ~ May 29, 2010 Py finished her Championship with a Specialty Reserve, and a Specialty Best of Winners. She was a breed and Best of Opposite Winner. Leah would show her at Specialties. She was always pulled for consideration. She had a short dense working coat. Py won on her structure, balance and movement. She produced one litter of 5. She has three champions (Danica, Nuka & Shades). The other two are in pet homes, but could get their championships. She and Steele gave Bonnie & Tom Ryzka their first real sled team. They would borrow Py & Steele to run with their two Mals to give them a 4 dog team. Just a generic gray & white bitch with a great pedigree. She touched many lives in a very positive way. "The Queen of our Kennel". |
